URL:

Drop out and garduation rate

Describe what you saw:

On this site I saw many important graphs and charts regarding student performance. Many were from the subjects of mathematics and reading, but if you scroll down you can find both the graduation and drop out student rate. The table in which this was displayed also showed important statistics which we could compare the dropout and graduation rate of this high school with the district average as awell as the state average.

Why might this be useful for us?

This would be usefull to someone so they can see where their chosen school falls compared to the state and district averages. This can demonstrate student performance, and also how the school has progressed or declined over the years.

Other Notes:

In the same table where you find the drop out and graduation rate, you can find the student and teacher attendence for that particular year. I found this this very interesting because seeing student and teacher attendence may show their effort they put in. Having a teacher who doesnt show up as much might demonstrate why students are not performing at such a high rate.
